Ta Prohm Temple, also known as Forest Temple, is located in the Angkor Thom ruins, with trees growing here in the most amazing way. It’s impossible to describe until you set foot in this place and see the strangeness with your own eyes.
Apparently, this site was abandoned for a long time and after hundreds of years developed into a place that is now also known as the Angkor Archaeological Park.
In every direction, the trunks of silk cotton trees reach up to the sky, hidden under giant green leaves. The base of the tree is like an octopus tentacle covering the ground and the endless tree roots curl and crawl under the ground like snakes.
