Wildlife photographer Will Burrard-Lucas always has a special affection for Meerkats (African meerkats).
During his trip to Botswana, Will spent up to 6 days capturing the most beautiful images of a Meerkat family.
Meerkats are small mammals, members of the mongoose family. Meerkats inhabit all areas of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana and South Africa.
This animal lives in herds, each herd has about 20 animals, but some herds have up to 50 individuals or more. Their average lifespan is 12-14 years.
“I love meerkats and they are always my top “goal” on trips to Africa. They are funny and very adorable animals” – Will said.
