A snake with legs and claws was recently discovered in Toai Ninh city, China.
Dean Qiongxiu – a 66-year-old woman in Sui Ninh, Sichuan province – saw the animal clinging to the wall of her bedroom in the middle of the night.
” I woke up and heard a strange rustling sound. I turned on the light and saw this strange animal moving on the wall with its claws, ” Dean said. She said she was so scared that she grabbed a shoe and beat the snake to death. Then she dropped it into a jar of wine.

According to Telegraph, the snake is 40 cm long. Scientists from a university in Nanchang city are studying the animal.
Long Shuai, a snake expert in China, commented: ” This is a strange snake. We hope to find out the reason why it has legs after surgery .”
Gene mutation may be one of the reasons why snakes grow legs. However, most such snakes usually have two heads. Catching two-headed snakes is considered lucky by the Chinese. But most of them are not able to live long in nature because their two heads tend to attack each other.
