Recently, a clip of a bizarre 3-horned cow was posted and received more than 3.5 million views. At the beginning of the clip, nothing seems out of the ordinary as there is an animal grazing in a field. But when the animal moved, it became clear that it had three horns on its head.
The two regular horns are located on both sides of the animal’s head, and are of average size and thickness like the horns of other long-horned Ankole cows. But in the middle of its forehead there was another horn protruding like a unicorn’s horn.
This horn initially obscured the right horn, causing people to mistakenly think it was just a normal cow. It wasn’t until the animal tilted its head that the three horns became fully visible.
The cattle manager in Rubabinda, Uganda was the one who recorded the video and posted it on his Twitter account.
“This is so magical”, one netizen exclaimed.
“This cow should not be sold or slaughtered. If anything is going to be done, people should worship it,” another person suggested.
“It’s just one of nature’s freaks when an animal has an incomplete separation from its twin,” one viewer explained in a scientific way.
Some netizens suggested cutting off the cow’s middle horn because they believe it would “reduce the heavy weight on the head and at least allow for an easier life”. However, there are people who still ask questions, doubting whether the video is real or faked.
