A creature that looks hideous like a monster has just washed up under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York (USA). Denise Ginley took a photo of this strange creature while walking on the riverbank on July 22.
People call this strange animal the “Manhatan monster” , because it looks like a vampire with a distorted face, a hairless body and five-toed feet that look like human limbs. Because they didn’t know what this animal was, many people speculated that it could be a drowned rodent, a cooked pig, or a bloated dog, or something like that. bad omen.
“We were so scared when we saw it that I took a few pictures. Then I backed away, rowed up to the fence before daring to take a shot,” Ginley recounted.

Some people believe that this creature is related to the legend of the “Montauk Monster” – a creature of unknown origin that washed up on the beach near the Montauk area near New York in July 2008. However, the New York Park Management Department denied that this was a mysterious creature, and confirmed that it was just a pig.
An agency spokesman said they had disposed of the animal. “It was just a roasted pig left behind after a picnic.”
But people are still skeptical about this claim, because they think that the creature has human-like hands that do not resemble pig hooves.
“The park department determined it was a pig very quickly and then disposed of it, but it clearly wasn’t a pig,” Ginley said.
Dr. Paul Curtis, a wildlife conservation expert, said it could have been a small dog that died and swelled up in a muddy river somewhere.
