An albino hedgehog was found in Russia and brought to the Dendrarium botanical garden park in Sochi.
Some young people discovered this tired and sick hedgehog, so they decided to take him to the park.

The hedgehog was then named Snezhok (snowball), in honor of the Winter Olympics that will be hosted by the city in 2014, park director Alexander Kornilov told RIA Novosti news agency.
The hedgehog’s feathers are completely white, a rare mutant form of albino hedgehog. This animal cannot survive in the wild because it has a rather weak immune system and cannot defend itself against predators, Kornilov said.

He is two months old, raised in a separate cage and fed meat, fish and cat food.
At the moment, he is the only hedgehog in the park, but staff are planning to find him a mate.
