Although she is only one of the residents of the Babcock Wildlife Sanctuary, southwest Florida, USA, Lulu the cow impresses visitors with her special third horn.
Lulu the cow, 24 years old, lives at the Babcock Wildlife Sanctuary.
Lulu is a cow born on January 17, 1967 right in this reserve. It is known that Lulu started growing her third horn when she was still a young cow. With this special appearance, Lulu has been given the title “the most horny cow in America” by her owner.
Lulu has many descendants, but none of them inherited the third horn like her.
During her lifetime, Lulu gave birth to a total of 18 calves, was the grandmother of 143 “great-grandchildren” and the great-grandmother of 298 “great-grandchildren”. But among all Lulu’s descendants, none of them inherited the strange third horn like her grandmother and mother.
Lulu, the three-horned cow, has been alive and well for many years.
It seemed that possessing a strange horn would somewhat affect Lulu’s health, but this cow has survived healthily for many years. Even when Lulu’s descendants died, she officially passed away on September 30, 1991.
