About 20km northwest of the town of Hafford, in Saskatchewan, Cacsh has a forest with unusually strong and crooked tree trunks and branches that attract the curiosity of many visitors.
Strange garden with crooked trees, as if someone held them with two hands and “twisted” them together. This garden has attracted the attention of tourists since the 1940s. To date, this garden attracts about five thousand visitors each year.
The appearance of strangely crooked trees is explained by many different hypotheses. Some people say that it is due to toxic contaminants in the soil that appeared after a meteorite fell in the area. Meanwhile, some other people believe that those trees were due to… lightning strikes.
