With clear, cool blue water and suitable for escaping the summer heat, the natural lake located on the volcanic island of Upolu in Samoa is an attractive destination for tourists.
To Sua Trench, Upolu Island, Samoa is known as a swimming pool of enchanting beauty. Many people who come here to visit exclaim that for them this is the most beautiful natural swimming pool in the world.
“If someone said that the lake was created by magic, I would definitely believe it,” said a tourist from England.
In the local language, To Sua means big hole, formed after a volcano erupted on the island and part of the ground collapsed. This natural swimming pool is about 30 m deep, the water is clear, cool and the bottom can be seen. This place is also connected by a series of other channels to the Pacific Ocean, so the water in the lake never dries up.
People in the area designed a ladder so that visitors and everyone else can easily go down to the swimming pool to bathe. Many people often use this as a fulcrum to jump off the bridge into the clear blue water below.
