Damien Allard from Carleton-sur-Mer, in Canada’s Quebec, is known as one of the people who is very passionate about growing vegetables. This man’s agricultural products broke the Guinness World Record for weight.

Damien has grown three giant radishes after a year of working in his garden. All three radishes broke the world record for weight.
According to Guinness World Records, the first radish weighed 22.9 kg, the next radish 24.4 kg and the third radish weighed a staggering 29 kg. Damien’s radish broke the previous record holder’s record of 17.7 kg.
This isn’t Damien’s first attempt at growing a giant radish. Back in 2016, he grew a 7 kg radish in his garden. Then he decided to take the time to grow these large and impressive radishes. In 2019, he was able to develop a variety with fruit weighing 15.5 kg, not too far from the previous record weight of 17.7 kg.
After three years of dedicated work, he finally achieved his goal, In 2021, after having sown three giant radishes in the previous year.
“I have been working quite hard on my radish variety for two years. I think this year is the right year to have great results. But I never thought that I would achieve higher results than last year. The old record was more than 10 kg “, he told Guinness World.
